Bri is an amazing person and doula! She was wonderful to work with through pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Her knowledge and support were invaluable, and her experience as a nurse and medical background was also a great asset.
During pregnancy Bri came out to visit my husband and I several times for birth and postpartum prep classes. The classes really helped us to feel more comfortable for what was to come and we also had a lot of fun getting to know Bri before our baby’s birth.
When my water broke 2 weeks early at 4 am, Bri was there by my side for the 2 days of induction, labor, and a long process which eventually ended in an emergency c section. Her presence was calm and reassuring the entire time. She not only was a comfort to me, but also my husband and father. She was there by my side after surgery feeding me my first postpartum meal, while I fed our newborn son.
Postpartum came with its own trials, and Bri was unbelievably understanding and kind. She had a lot of insight on caring for our newborn, as well as caring for myself. Her visits were a comfort and stress relief during a both incredible and challenging time.
I absolutely recommend Bri and will use her again if we decide to have another baby down the line. She is someone you will have a connection with for life! Again, just a truly wonderful person
