Emerald Ortiz is truly a blessing sent from God. She is gifted with something so sacred and so powerful. She empowered both my husband and I to step into our first birth with confidence. The wealth of knowledge that Emerald carries with her is incredible. Every question I had, she was available to answer them. She allowed us to lead and shared options with us that we weren't even aware we had access to.
During the last few months of my pregnancy, she educated us on what to expect and things to look out for. As someone who appreciates being informed, this helped put me at great ease. She also made sure to include my husband every step of the way and he felt like he was truly part of this journey.
Our labor and delivery experience was TOP TIER. From massages to aroma therapy oils, to advocating for our needs when we didn't have the capacity to do it ourselves, making sure we were informed about what was happening as it happened...I felt so safe, secure, seen, heard, protected and cared for. We truly could not have gotten through labor and delivery without her!!
Post partum, we continue to check in and knowing that I can connect with her about motherhood is beyond helpful. I HIGHLY recommend any mom that is expecting to connect with Emerald ♥?
