Midwest Doulas has been our choice for doulas for both of our birth journeys. We had the great pleasure of having Ale at both births. While both birth experiences were very different, the top tier care and expertise we received was not.
While Ale took great care of us during pregnancy- communicating well and often, checking in, and offering plenty of expertise- being second time parents, the birth is really where we needed her the most.
During labor, Ale was a huge advocate for us to our birth team. She explained the medical jargon well and told me how the advice we were getting either did or did not relate to my birth plan. Throughout the labor, she was patient and supportive of the needs of me and my partner and made sure that I did everything necessary to have seamless labor and delivery. She did well observing me, anticipating my needs and matching that vibe through every stage of the process.
Postpartum, Ale went above and beyond to check in on us, providing advice and support. She's extremely knowledgeable and was happy to share!
Midwest Doulas is one of the best agencies in the twin cities, and I will choose and recommend them every time. They are fantastic at what they do and care while they do it.
