My boyfriend and I met Adele at a coffee shop for a meet and greet after we came across her profile on here. I forget how many weeks I was when we all met, but hiring a Doula was a bit of an afterthought when suggested by our midwives. We had coffee with Adele and instantly clicked. I remember going home and thinking yep, she's great! We got the process going and had a few prenatal meetings before the big day. Once things started Adele was at the hospital to meet us right away and I must say she made the whole experience so much better than I would have ever imagined. This was our first so I have nothing to compare it to, but she just did her thing and helped keep me as calm & relaxed as I could be. She helped with guided pushing, was always there to lend a helping hand and gave us advice in the moment to help us advocate for ourselves when needed. I can't even sum up all the incredible ways she made the labour and delivery process so memorable. She was such a huge help afterwards too when I had to go back to the hospital after we got home because I had a serious hemorrhage - she came to the rescue and helped my boyfriend so he wasn't all alone with our little guy, brought formula which was such a big help because in that moment everything just kind of flipped upside down briefly. We all made it through because of the support we had in those early days. We can't thank you enough Adele!!!!
