She came recommended by a close friend and from the moment we met her, my husband and I knew she’d be the support system we needed to get through the rollercoaster of pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. She is a wealth of knowledge and brings a calm demeanor that especially for me, was so necessary through the entire process. From day one, she was so quick to reply anytime I had a question, concern or needed to vent; and she was patient when I definitely asked her repeat questions. She made sure we had all the information we needed to prep for birth and postpartum, and helped us navigate through any decisions we had to make without giving her opinion or passing judgement. She was so much more than a source of information too - her positive, warm personality made her instantly feel like a friend.
While she was so helpful our entire time working with her, she really shined in the days leading up to my due date and then once I was admitted into the hospital. I was terrified for the unknown and she made me feel safer and that everything was going to be ok.
We worked with her postpartum too and were so inspired by how natural she is with babies. We learned so much from her in a short time, and similar to the birthing process, she made me feel comfortable and confident in this new phase of my life.
