Words can't describe this genuine soul who helped me give birth, Keisha, is nothing but awesome, humbling & kind. She sacrificed her birthday, to be with me while giving birth! So her and my baby are bday twins!
She not only made me feel worthy, of being able to have a natural birth, but capable as well. She listens to honor you, my contractions were not textbook and my husband & I were very unsure so she came over and stayed with me as I labored for about 15 hours finally making it to the hospital at 7cm. I was very nervous about having an natural birth, but I knew that was something that I wanted to have. And I was the first of my family to ever have one. I just didn't know how but Keisha allowed me to have that space of a uncertainty, but also reassuring me at the same time. I definitely recommend Keisha. This is my first child ever and she made me feel safe strong and able. She is very knowledgeable on the Baby aspect as well, I tested positive for GBS. And she was able to give me a piece of mind, but also give me knowledge. She work well with my midwives and making sure that I'm was talking to them and that they are respecting my wishes As well as Making sure I felt heard. If you are looking for a doula, who is realistic humbling down to earth and real, Keisha is that girl!!! and is the way to go. She won't sugarcoat anything, but she will be real with you and that's the type of Doula. I feel that everybody wants and needs.
