My husband and I are so grateful that we chose to have Whole Mama as part of our pregnancy and birth. I met with several doulas during my second trimester, but it was an easy choice as soon as I chatted with Jade and Michele. They gave me a good feeling, and my gut was not wrong. Their whole team was always available for questions, support, and guidance as soon as we joined the group. They also provided invaluable education to help prepare us, with both the included birth course provided by Cara and their in-person labor prep class. Unfortunately, my labor and birth did not go according to my plans (shocking, I know :P), but thankfully, we had Michele with us every step of the way. She kept us calm and sane through days of prodromal labor, and she was our voice of reason during every decision we had to make in the hospital, as our reality drifted from our envisioned birth. Michele came with us into the OR during my C-section birth, and stayed at my side so that my husband could be with our baby girl knowing that I wasn’t alone. She stuck with us over the course of 4 days, at home and in the hospital, sharing her comfort, experience, and presence. I’m not sure what we would’ve done without her!! Now postpartum, Hailey is helping us out at home, with all our new parent questions and keeping us fed and happy. We can’t thank Whole Mama enough!
