I and my partner had Barbie's support for both of our children's births. She was an incredible source of calm. In our most recent birth, she provided company and distraction while we anxiously waited to be called to the operating room for a scheduled surgical birth. I would highly recommend having Barbie accompany you on your birth journey, whether you plan to have a surgical or non-surgical birth. She supported both me and my partner, helping us to know what to expect. Her calm allowed us to enjoy evey aspect of the day. She also helped in very tangible ways such as getting us food and drinks, taking pictures throughout the day which we continue to cherish, and aiding in positioning our newborn following my surgery to facilitate nursing. Barbie is incredible, and a wonderful person to share a birth day with.
