Incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. If you want the most experience we have witnessed in the area for a doula-Hire her! Though she is pricey she brings so many resources, equipment, and expertise that make her price worth it. Within her cost, she also provides birthing classes into her package from her own 4th Trimester Fitness Business to make sure her clients are prepared. She not only has her own birthing pool with liners for her homebirth clients, she also brings an incredible doula tool kit with her. She has a solid backup team if anything crazy happens and she cannot make it. Every tool you could want in labor-she has it (herself with tons of techniques, tens, CUB, peanut balls, TRX slings, etc.). She knows so many midwifes, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy folks, and more. She has experience with just about every hospital in the area. She has just about seen it all. We had two previous complicated 36 hour labors when we hired her. We had a traumatic emergency C-Section and then a complicated VBAC with a lot of emotional baggage. Her knowledge of pelvimetry, movement, and normal physiological birth impressed us. We had taken numerous birth classes in the past and her Prep for Partner class was by far the most helpful and useful class we had ever taken. She has taken her previous midwife background and really just poured it into truly caring for women and walking with them on this journey of bringing life into this world. I have seen and heard about her making the most out of the tiniest of triage rooms or entire birthing spaces. We were so comfortable in her hands it helped us on our path of being at peace no matter what happened this go round. And that definitely aided us in our precipitous 3 hour Hbac with zero complications! She was so professional and calm even with the craziness of it moving that fast that we never had any fear of what was happening.
