My experience with the Swedish doula services was absolutely amazing. My doula Rebekah was extremely helpful and a true blessing to me and my family. With this being my first pregnancy and first baby I was nervous, scared, and anxious for labor and Rebekah made that day a breeze! I ended up being induced at 36Weeks due to complications and Rebekah was there through the whole thing. I don't think I would have gotten through that labor without her. She was extremely helpful with keeping me comfortable and encouraging me throughout the whole process. During such a vulnerable time she was my voice and helped me understand exactly what was going on with my induction. She expressed my needs and wants to my medical care team and made sure they understood what I was needing. My family absolutely adored Rebekah, I asked my family to share their experience with Rebekah and they stated that " she is very sweet, caring, and nurturing " and I couldn't agree more. The biggest help came postpartum when I was able to have Rebekah visit for the first 6 weeks. It was extremely helpful to have Rebekah around as it allowed me to catch up on rest knowing my baby was in great hands. My baby absolutely loves Rebekah. Rebekah is extremely knowledgeable about breastfeeding and helped me find positions that were easier for me and my baby. Rebekah helped with suggestions on things that would help my milk supply and I can say they actually worked. I am forever grateful for Rebekah and the doula services through Swedish!
