Testimonial for Katie Rowe
I recently completed my second pregnancy and birth with Katie. I hired Katie to be my doula as soon as I found out I was pregnant and I'm so thankful because she was able to walk with me through multiple challenges throughout the pregnancy and provide support and advice. I dealt with a subchorionic hemmorage, placenta previa and preterm birth. During the actual labor and delivery, Katie met us at the hospital in early labor and stayed with us the whole time until a couple hours after baby girl was born. She provided comfort measures during labor: positions, comb, oils, TENS unit, mindset coaching, and supported my husband through it as well. She met up with me a week after the birth and spent hours listening to me talk about my postpartum challenges and experience and reflections on my birth experience. She also writes up the whole birth story, which was the sweetest surprise with my first baby. I am endlessly thankful for Katie and all the work she put in to get me here today, safe and supported.
