Tatiana was absolutely wonderful as our doula! She made a point to learn every detail of my birth plan before I went into labor to ensure it was followed, which was especially helpful because the medical team at the hospital claimed they didn't have time to look it over after we arrived. She was a vocal advocate on my behalf when I needed it, particularly when it came to preferences the medical team would have been aware of had they reviewed my plan. I delivered at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland and from the rapport she had with various nurses and doctors in the labor and delivery unit it was clear that the medical team has a great deal of respect for her which speaks to the quality of care she consistently delivers.
I hoped to have an unmedicated birth but wasn't certain I would be able to do it. With Tatiana's positioning suggestions, pain management support, and breathing techniques going unmedicated felt very manageable. I was especially lucky because my husband is a nurse and was already going to be a stellar birth partner, and Tatiana did an excellent job working closely with him throughout my entire labor to provide me with the best support possible. My birth experience went exactly how I hoped that it would, and I attribute a large part of that to Tatiana's services.
Since delivering Tatiana has checked in regularly to see how we've all been doing and answer any and all questions that I have. She has always been quick to respond and thorough in her answers anytime I was curious about something.
I've been recommending Tatiana's services to all of my pregnant friends and fully intend to hire her for any future births I have. She's the best!
