Carli is such a gift from God. I have a couple conditions which made my pregnancy a bit unconventional and riskier than normal, and she helped us navigate not only ordinary pregnancy stuff but everything that came up as a result of that as well.
While pregnant, Carli was a key part of my preparation. She helped us know what to expect for labor, delivery and breastfeeding. She gave me exercises to help baby get head down (breech was a concern with my condition). She was so quick to respond to all of our questions and never pressured us in a decision, but always made sure we were informed so we could choose what’s best for us.
During labor she helped me get into positions that helped baby get ready for delivery. I don’t know what my husband and I would’ve done without her there coaching me through pushing. I only pushed for an hour, and since it was highly likely I’d have a c section due to my conditions, this felt like a miracle. I credit God and her expertise with helping that happen.
She was so helpful with breastfeeding as well. Not only did she immediately notice my child was tongue tied and later connected us with a lactation consultant to address it, but her guidance in the hospital and in the postnatal visits were pivotal in me now being able to nurse pain free! It was also so nice to see her twice afterwards and be able to ask any of the questions that come up in those first few weeks.
She always put us at ease with her experience and guidance, and was so calm and down to earth and funny. I’m so thankful we had her on our team, and we will definitely hire her for any future children we have! I cannot recommend her enough!
