During pregnancy, Denise's childbirth and breastfeeding classes were so helpful and gave so much helpful information about what to expect, details I hadn't gotten from books. My husband said that the childbirth class was the best OB lecture he'd ever received, including in med school.
During labor, the nurse or doctor would tell me what they were going to do next and Denise would spring into action, adjusting me or adjusting the bed, anticipating what would be needed. Denise was steady, solid, and reassuring, and knew just what to do when an unexpected situation came up.
My husband and I loved having her support, and I'm sure the doctors and nurses did too!
