We chose to hire a postpartum doula for after the birth of our second baby. My husband wasn't able to take much time off work and with 2 under 2 we knew we would need all the help we could get. When we first met with Eileen we knew she would be a great add to our home during the postpartum season! Eileen exceeded all of our expectations. She helped with meal prepping, laundry, house clean up, and so much more. She also ensured that each day she was at our house I was able to nap, shower, or do something for myself which is such a game changer as a mom in the thick of newborn life! I especially loved the care and attention she gave to our oldest. I loved that he was getting extra attention and he enjoyed Eileen so much! She included him in household tasks, took him to the park, brought him books, and was always so gentle, kind, and patient with him. He still asks about Eileen and her infamous peanut butter balls!! I also so enjoyed Eileen's company in my home. She was so much fun to chat with, bounce ideas off of, and have conversations with. Eileen helped relieve so much from my plate while she was with us during the newborn phase and aided in my ability to rest, heal, and actually enjoy this postpartum period while navigating 2 under 2! If you're considering a postpartum doula I can't recommend it enough, especially if you pick Eileen!
