Any questions I had she would be there for me, sending me tons of information. She never pushed any opinions or told me what she thought I should do. Instead, she listened intently and gave feedback, information and encouragement at just the right times. When we had a scary thing happen when our daughter was born, she held me and cried with me until it was over and my baby girl was in my arms. Even during our home visit afterwards, she was just so comforting and I genuinely enjoyed being in her presence. From the moment I met her she made me feel welcomed and I felt as if I'd known her forever. And for my first birth, it made all the difference.
