I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Camille's support and care for the birth of our daughter in March 2024.
In the weeks before our daughter's arrival, Camille's extensive knowledge of birth and hands-on care helped my partner and I feel comfortable, relaxed, and equipped for the birth experience.
Knowing we could call and Camille would be there for us was a huge comfort.
Throughout labour and delivery Camille helped me feel safe and present. She knew exactly when to step in to offer encouragement and support and when to give quiet space. She was such an amazing presence in the room. My partner and I felt she has an incredible ability to read how the labour was progressing and what might help keep things moving in the right direction. From the moment labour started to delivery, Camile provided sound insight and guidance when we were looking for it, and also blended in and helped create a calm and comforable environment. She also did a great job of working with our midwife to communicate some of our wants in the delivery room so that my partner and I could remain in the moment.
In those early weeks at home, Camille's visits and check-ins eased our transition to life with a newborn and post-partum recovery. From breastfeeding support, to being with the baby so we could sleep, to nourshiment (and even checking on our pup!) Camille was so helpful in supporting us through this major change and event in our lives.
We are so lucky to have Camille by our side in our journey to becoming parents!
