I had Laura for my doula for the North of my third child. Even though I had taken hospital birthing classes as well as a Hypnobirthing class, I still learned a lot from participating in her childbirth class. My partner was gone during the class so I wasn't able to come in person due to childcare. Laura made sure that I could participate on zoom and made me feel so connected to the other participants. She really took the time to understand what I wanted from birth and was willing to advocate for and with me throughout the process as needed. My son was born a couple days before Christmas and despite it being a busy season and there being a huge snow storm coming in as I was giving birth, she was completely present for me and stayed to make sure I was settled and that breastfeeding was going well after I delivered. I had a different doula in the past who was also wonderful but Laura far exceeded my expectations even based on my enjoyable past experiences.
