I cannot put into words how much my husband and I recommend Havilah. Nothing short of amazing. She is very sweet, professional, has excellent communication and is there for all your needs. This was my first baby and I think there may have been a high chance of a different outcome with labor and delivery if she was not there. You really don't know what to expect during that process. Your mind is somewhere else and your body is going through an epic adventure. Havilah was literally by my side the entire time. She was so encouraging, supportive, and recommended many different positions to try. I was able to have the unmedicated birthing center birth that I planned for and she definitely played a huge role in that. After my baby was born Havilah checked in several times to see how everyone was doing and even gave tips for breastfeeding. It is true what people say that doulas are worth their weight in gold. I would not hesitate to use Havilah again in the future. She was above and beyond and exceeded my expectations.
