I found Lavina literally a week before my due date! I liked Her vibe over text and then had the pleasure of meeting her. I loved the way she was with my son from the start and how cool, calm and collective she was. I was reading her body language, facial expressions and everything - pretty much analyzing her in order to see if she would be my match. Turns out she was everything I wanted in a doula and I decided to go with how my heart felt about her.
She was available through phone and text for me and made everything easy for me as well as working with the time limit we had since baby was coming soon. She provided a bunch of information that I needed to know. I knew she believed in me as much as I believed in myself.
She was there for me when it was go time- her voice- her facial expressions- the consent eye contact- all this is what I wanted while in labor- i felt loved - the way she held my hand - and comforted me through the hardest parts of my labor- the instructions she gave me - the positive come backs - she reminded me of my birth plan- which is what I needed once it really started hitting hard.
I know for a fact God sent her to me- you don’t meet people for no reason. From the bottom of my heart I will always love her - I will always love the way she took care of me - she is kind- she is gentle - she is powerful - all this made me strong and had my sweet angel March 7, 2018.
I will be needing you again for baby #3- trust that!
