Words cannot describe how grateful we were to have Helen be a part of our pregnancy and labor journey. She was there for us every step of the way.
When we went into labor, Helen was by my side, the minute we arrived at the birth center. She guided and massaged me through nearly 15 hours of intense labor. Due to complications with my baby wedged into the right side of my pelvis, we had to transfer to the hospital. Having Helen’s expertise and reassurance guiding me through the hospital process, put my mind at ease. I felt informed of each medical step we had to take through having the epidural, inducing and eventually an emergency C-Section. Helen was there through nearly 2 days of labor in the birth center and hospital. Ryden was born July 4 completely healthy and happy. After 2 days of labor, Helen even took the time to visit me the following day to see how we were.
We couldn’t have persevered through this labor without Helen’s love and support. The bond between my doula Helen and I will forever be in my heart.
