I cannot say how much we appreciated Renée as our doula. My partner and I had been planning a home birth. However, due to health issues on my part we ended up at the hospital for an induction and then c-section. This was not what we had planned for at all but having Renée there was a complete blessing. I felt so cared for during labour and her kindness and humour helped make the birth a beautiful one. My partner appreciated all the support during the labour and especially while waiting before the c-section. She is honestly a birth angel. The home visit after James was born was wonderful and provided us with so much practical advice that was so valuable as first time parents. Without a doubt we would want her with us if there's a round two!
