When I began the process of finding a Doula, I felt very overwhelmed - I had no idea where to start. I begain "interviewing" doulas to see who would be the best match and who aligned with my preferences. From the moment I sat down with Ashlee I had a sense of calm. She helped me feel confident and validated my previous birth story. As we began to get to know each other, she helped walk me through my previous experience and move forward into our second birth story. I felt comfortable partnering with her in our pregnancy and birth journey.
I was truly blessed to work with Ashlee. Not only was she very knowledgable but she easily communicated with me and answered any questions as they came up. I loved the sessions we had in preparation for birth. She walked me through so many aspects I had never considered before. With a solid gameplan, I went into our natural, unmedicated birth with more tools and confidence than before. Ashlee had my birth goals in mind as she helped my husband and I through the labor and delivery process. She advocated for me at the hospital and honestly was the calm and steady voice I could hear - encouraging me the entire way. She made confident choices and helped us to have the best birth experience possible. I am very grateful that she was part of our very special journey.
