Raizel was absolutely incredible, before, during and after my labor and delivery. When I met with her a few months before my due date I expressed to her my desire for a natural birth, wanting to try without an epidural. As my due date approached she was always checking in on me and extremely responsive whenever I had questions. I had texted Raizel that I felt like my labor wasn’t progressing. As soon as Raziel arrived she helped me move into the proper positions to progress labor. 30 min later I was in active labor! During labor Raizel offered various techniques to keep me as comfortable as possible. Raziel helped me stay focused, calm and confident. Raizel stayed committed to the goals I had set during our first meeting and often reminded me of them when I need it. After birth I had a small complication and she stayed by my side, supported me, and kept me calm. After I was home from the hospital she checked in on me and continued to support and guide me. She even went out of her way to research my complication and explained to me why it happened and talked me through the whole experience. Raizel’s demeanor exudes a calming strength that made me feel safe, supported and encouraged throughout the entire birthing process.
