When I went into labor, Jessica arrived at the birthing center and became an indispensable support system, especially during the challenges of Covid. From giving back massages and offering encouraging words to providing gentle touches, she was there every step of the way. When I was transferred to the hospital, Jessica followed, offering continuity and reassurance when I faced uncertainty about my new care team. I can’t imagine that stressful day without her presence—it would have been much more difficult without her by my side.
Jessica’s support didn’t end with the birth. She visited me multiple times afterward, helping me with sleep routines for my daughter and providing me with much-needed time to rest. Her nurturing and encouraging presence made all the difference. I feel so incredibly fortunate that Jessica was part of my birth story and my daughter’s journey into the world.
