I am so beyond thankful I had Tialyr with me before, during and after my birth. I couldn't imagine doing it without her. First, she visited with me a couple of times to come up with a birth plan and talk through expectations, nerves, etc. She really helped my husband feel more prepared and confident for when labor started. She also threw me a nesting party which was so fun and helpful. I highly recommend adding on that service!
My birth experience didn't go as I hoped but Tialyr made it so much better. We ended up transferring to the hospital as I was not progressing and had some other issues. She went with us and stayed the whole time (32 hours total)! She was great at giving counter pressure and made sure I was hydrated and nourished. She kept me at peace and was very encouraging. Throughout many difficult contractions I kept repeating in my head some of the affirmations she was telling me. After the birth she braided my hair for me and made sure we were all good before she left.
Tialyr also visited us a couple times in the first few weeks postpartum. She helped me process through my thoughts and emotions. She also made sure I was getting the support I needed.
Tialyr is an amazing doula. She has so much love and passion for helping mommas!
