Ava was amazing throughout my pregnancy as well as post partum. She was well organized, thorough and knowledgeable. I really appreciated how she shared literature and podcasts/ audiobooks about mindful birthing. These resources combined with her positive down to earth personality and constant reassurance really helped me keep my mental game in check before and during my home birth. I didn't need much during the birth but she was always quick to anticipate and act accordingly even for things I didn't know I needed. From helping me with nesting projects to sharing resources. From breathing with me throughout my labor to cheering me on as I pushed my baby out. From periodic check ins to bringing my family and I home made meals after the baby. Ava was an amazing support system throughout my pregnancy. She was my first experience with a Doula during my birth and if Murphy wasn't my last baby, I would have her as my Doula for the next one. I am so grateful for her support and the calm and positive energy she added to my experience.
