Testimonial for Eli Seibel, CD(PALS)

There are so many things that I appreciate about my time with Eli. I knew that they were intentional in the care they offered from the first meeting. They were willing to build a relationship before my third trimester while most doula services begin around week 32. Eli and I checked-in monthly throughout my pregnancy to see how things were going, get to know each other and answer any questions. They consistently offered resources including community connections, articles and other related information to all things pregnancy and postpartum.

When we did get to the in-person visits in the later weeks, they offered more education and resources as well as skill building activities like labor positions, pain management, swaddling and using different baby carriers. My partner and I were grateful to have this hands-on time so we felt prepared and more confident for when the baby arrived.

Eli's genuine and intentional care about our well-being shone through in many instances. From late night phone calls during the days of early labor to our time in the hospital and the first few days of being home. During labor, Eli was encouraging, comforting and willing to pivot with us as things changed. They knew our birth plan and made sure we were taken care of accordingly. Eli also made an extra and early postpartum visit to ensure that our new family was settling in okay with several hours to rest and do some self care while they took care of the baby. My partner and I refer to them as the "baby whisperer" because our daughter is always calm and content after an Eli visit. I highly recommend their postpartum and overnight offerings as Eli goes above and beyond with their support including household chores and snacks for late night nursing.

I am so grateful to have met Eli and to have gone on my pregnancy and postpartum journey with them. I will be recommending Eli to any and all pregnant folks that I meet moving forward.
