Kimberly was an essential part of our birth team! About 20 weeks into my pregnancy I decided to have an unmedicated birth. After our interview with Kimberly, my husband and I felt at ease that she would be the perfect doula to help achieve this goal. She guided us through best practices, shared her knowledge, and answered our many questions. She provided us a birth plan template and helped us with how to talk to my doctor who was skeptical of an unmedicated birth. When my water broke, she coached us as I labored at home and met us at the hospital when it was time to go. Kimberly came to the hospital prepared with speakers, mood lighting, essential oils, and many other things that we did not think to bring but appreciated having during labor. She thought of everything! During labor she helped me with new positions, affirmations, and my husband was even able to get a little rest. She took pictures and videos throughout the labor that we will cherish forever! We are so thankful for Kimberly’s role in helping us achieve our ideal birth and bringing our healthy baby boy into the world. After the birth, I used her services for placenta encapsulation and was very glad that I did. In about three days she delivered the pills to our doorstep for me to start taking. I highly recommend having Kimberly as your doula!
