Words cannot properly express what Ashlee provides. It is so much more than just care to the physical or the emotional side of birth, but the spirital side of it as well. During my pregnancy Ashlee helped me slowly embrace the word "surrender," which has always been a very foreign concept to someone who loves control as much as myself. When it came time for my delivery, pretty much everything I didn't want to happen, happened. With the support of Ashlee, my husband and I were able to adapt, stay true to ourselves, come closer to God, and truly surrender to the process. I now have a one year old and the roots of surrendering that Ashlee helped me establish have translated so beautfilly into motherhood itself. I am eternally grateful that she continues to highlight the power, grace, and beauty of God's design for women, for birth, and for families. She is truly the hands and feet of Jesus.
