Throughout my pregnancy, Rebecca helped my husband and I anticipate and prepare for important decisions--and brush off what wasn't worth worrying over. She was highly knowledgeable and deeply humane talking me through prenatal depression, a low-lying placenta, gestational diabetes testing, and a baby who took her sweet time to arrive. And when she did arrive, Rebecca was the person who was truly with me in the intensity of labor: at home, in the car, and at the hospital. I trusted her completely and relied on her strength, and so did my husband and my midwives. She helped me bring my daughter into the world in the way that I'd hoped to, and helped me in the early (and mind-bending) days of breastfeeding. I will be forever grateful.
