After a really difficult first birth, I decided to hire a doula for my second pregnancy. Kim was recommended by my Pelvic PT, and I knew from our first meeting that I wanted her by my side for my second delivery. Kim not only listened to my story, desires, and fears, but she also followed-up in ways that communicated that she actually cared, understood, and was committed to working with me to have the experience I hoped for. Her steady, calm, and confident presence allowed me to relax into the birth experience, as well as helped my husband have peace and be a better support. During labor she always had just the thing I needed, whether it was emotional support or hands-on comfort techniques. It was a beautiful and peaceful birth experience (even a nurse said so!), and I don’t think that would have been the case without Kim. She far exceeded my expectations for a doula, and I wish I had been able to have her support during the birth of my first child. I highly recommend her!
