My experience with Lily was incredible. She absolutely carried me through my VBAC. She applied pressure to my hips and back in a way that combated the pain while being 30 weeks pregnant herself. Lily decorated my hospital room, brought a speaker for music, a diffuser for oils, a hot stone massage kit, she also had a tens unit with her that we didn’t end up using. I found the wooden combs to be very helpful as well. Lily encouraged me through the whole experience. She recommended movements and breathing techniques and she also took photos and put together a beautiful instagram reel that I absolutely cherish. My husband was very skeptical about spending the money on a doula, but after the birth of our son, he is definitely a believer! I was told by my previous OB was too small to give birth vaginally, and with Lily’s guidance, I proved them wrong! I did it!
