We are so thankful to have found Suzanne and Cari to support us through our journey of becoming parents! We started working with the Dedicated Doula team very early on in our pregnancy and felt supported throughout our journey. They were informative, non-judgmental, and caring. No question was too small. We also took a childbirth class from Cari, which was tailored to our needs and helped both my partner and I feel prepared. Cari and Suzanne were a source of calm and support through the final weeks leading up to birth (I couldn't have guessed all the questions that would pop up in those final weeks!), through labor, and in the early postpartum weeks. When my labor/birth didn't go as we had expected (childbirth doesn't stick to a "plan" after all) we were so incredibly grateful for their support and expertise. Cari made sure I knew what to expect (literally holding my hand walking alongside me as I was being wheeled to the OR) and ensured my wishes were respected when we ended up having an emergency transfer to the hospital. I came through feeling like we still had a very positive birth experience. Also, the photos she takes during childbirth captured priceless moments that we are so grateful for. I tell everyone the best decision I made during pregnancy was working with a doula and I highly recommend working with Cari!
