Yurany was an excellent support to me before and during labor. She encouraged me and stayed in regular contact while I waited for labor to begin. When plans changed and I went in for an induction at 41 weeks + 3 days, she supported me in my continued goal of laboring as naturally as possible without pain medication. Once active labor kicked in, things were very intense very quickly. When I was able to communicate what I needed, she acted quickly, and when I was not able to communicate, she knew exactly what to do anyway. She had many tools in her bag that were critical to help me manage the pain naturally, and she was very responsive and intuitive. With her help and her excellent collaboration with my husband and the labor nurses, I was able to have an incredibly empowering and beautiful birth experience! She also helped me out a few weeks after my baby was born when my husband went back to work, so that I could get some rest. Yurany brings a great balance of a calm, down-to-earth, steady presence, and a confident drive to do what needs to be done. I would recommend her to anyone!
