Angie was a fantastic midwife and she was a midwife for two of my four babies. Sometimes I wonder if I had the fourth baby just so I could have the privilege of working with her again most importantly she is extremely respectful of the mother and the mother's decisions, she never judges Mom or forces her into anything she doesn't want to do. She's a very clear communicator whose demeanor helps to keep emotions steady, even if problems are arising. For example, When I was in labor at home there was a little bit of meconium in the amniotic fluid and the babies heart rate indicated a little bit of stress. She didn't freak out or say it was a huge deal. She just told me I needed to get the baby out now. And I did! In addition when my daughter was at 36 weeks and after she kept flipping around, she would not stay heads down and Angie helped me to get acupuncture to get multiple scans and even referred me for an inversion so that way I could get the homebirth I wanted I really believe Angie wants everyone to get the birth that they're looking for a safe Way. Finally, she is so respectful of personal space. She always asks for permission to touch you before doing any kind of procedure. As a mom who has given birth in hospital and home settings with multiple different midwives, I can confidently say Angie is the best.
