Update (2024):
Found out we were pregnant with baby two and immediately called the ladies at District Doula. I opted to request Jackie again because she helped us climb the mountain before and we knew she’d be an amazing asset again. We were right. Leading up to the birth Jackie was readily available giving us positioning exercises and ideas taking into account my previous labor. Was really hoping for a shorter labor this time, it technically was but was way longer than expected. Jackie was with us the whole way. Called at 3am when my water broke and she was at the hospital with us before we even got there. Guided me the whole time. This labor was incredibly intense and Jackie helped me through all of it. There were scary moments and Jackie helped me stay calm. Call ya when number three comes along. ??
