I assumed that a postpartum doula was primarily concerned for the newborn baby, but Amelia prioritized my own personal mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing while also helping me care for my baby, my five year old and also my home. She lightened the load of motherhood during an especially vulnerable and overwhelming season and I am so thankful for the time I had with her. She has such a calming presence, she's a good listener, and a hard worker. My older daughter especially enjoyed playing with her and looked forward to her visits just as much as I did!
