We are so glad we hired a doula for our third birth. Deanna has a calming and nonjudgemental presence and we loved that she is a woman of God with a strong Godly foundation.
When labor started, she was the first person I contacted. When contractions slowed down, she was able to naturally kick start my contractions and made communication with our midwife a breeze.
It was great to have Deanna to lean on when I didn’t know what to do and she was encouraging at times when I felt defeated. She didn’t force anything, let the birthing process naturally unfold on its own, and stayed calm throughout the whole process.
We are so grateful and appreciative for everyone involved in our daughter’s birth. We have a newfound respect for doulas now and the line of work they do. We will always look back at this birth warmly and with fond memories. I could never thank and show enough gratitude for this experience. It was worth every penny (and more!) having Deanna as our doula!
