Testimonial for Raizel Bennett
My first thought is that everyone should have a doula. My second thought is that everyone should have Raizel attend their labor and birth. Raizel has been a pleasure to work with from the beginning stages of pregnancy. Available and willing to answer all questions, even ones that were obvious and simple. As my due date drew closer, Raizel continued to check in and cheer me on, reassuring me that all was normal. Finally my water broke and we came up with our plan and Raizel was there every step of the way. From lighting, movement, position changes, advocating on my behalf, aromatherapy and more, Raizel helped me stay the course through my
labor up until my birth. Her steady and calming presence was reassuring in and of itself. And in addition to that, she was constantly cheering me on and providing positive feedback. I wouldn't have lasted through labor for as long as I did without her. I am extremely grateful that she was available and willing to be my doula.
