I'm not sure words can describe how unbelievably grateful we were to have Barbie as our doula. She helped guide us through a completely new experience and made us feel as comfortable and confident as possible. She was with us every step of the way as our pregnancy plans changed multiple times. Once we got to labor she was at our side quickly and was 100% engaged with helping us through the experience. She provided us with so many tools to help through labor. She was able to help explain the things that were happening and was an invaluable advocate for us. I cannot imagine having gone through that without her. After talking to several friends about their experiences with their doula it made me realize just how lucky we were to have Barbie. Nobody else received anywhere near. the attention, compassion and care that she provided us. We only hope that she's able to be with us for any future births.
