Working with Denise was such a wonderful and easy experience! We first met over a Zoom call, at the recommendation of my midwives, who had had a positive experience with her before. She took the time to answer all my questions and was exactly what I was looking for - someone who would advocate for my goals, but did not have a rigid predetermined plan (or attitude) to any one way of giving birth. At our prenatal sessions we went through different comfort positions and talked through everything surrounding my preferences and plan. Denise was easy and flexible to schedule with. On the day I went into labor she immediately made sure I knew she was available whenever I needed the support. At the hospital, Denise was a calming and gentle presence. She brings positivity and has compassion and understanding for worries and concerns. I cannot recommend her enough, it was great having her there!
