Out of the eight doulas we interviewed, Tatiana was the only one who took the initiative to come to us in person. When we met her, she had this combination of tenacity and a calming presence that instantly resonated with us. During the first prenatal visit, it became clear just how knowledgeable she was—especially about natural methods, remedies, and coping mechanisms. In the weeks leading up to the birth, she was incredibly helpful, always available to provide information and answer any questions I had—whether they were about caring for baby or preparing my body for labor. The night I started having contractions, she stayed calm and came over to assist me. Her peaceful energy helped me labor at home for almost the entire early stage. She knew my birth plan and she kept me grounded in that plan. When we arrived at the hospital, I was fully dilated and ready to push. The pain was overwhelming, and although my partner was amazing, I genuinely think I wouldn’t have been able to have the kinda birth I did without her. I delivered naturally, vaginally, and in under an hour. She was by my side the entire time, counting my contractions, and offering calming encouragement throughout active labor.

At the hospital, she was a great advocate for me when I was unable to speak due to the pain. She helped me communicate to the nurses and was also a great support to my husband, who didn’t quite know what to expect as a first-time dad.

Whenever I shared my desire to have a natural birth, most people thought I was crazy. Even my husband had his doubts. felt like everyone questioned whether I could actually do it—even I doubted myself. But the one person who always believed in me and knew I could do it was Tatiana. Thanks to her confidence in me, my birth experience is something I’m truly proud of. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a positive and empowering birth experience.
