I was unaware of what a Doula was until my wife told me she wanted one. Now that we've had our daughter I'm so glad we found Mya.
We had interviewed three other Doulas before we met Mya. But the moment we met Mya we felt completely at ease and comfortable. She's very detailed, prepared, and listens very well. We had a few meetings with her before our daughter came early and Mya spent the time to really get to know us. It's part of her process to learn what is going to put you and your partner at ease and educate you.
When we were induced she was there for the whole process. I honestly feel like she wound up being there for me more than my wife. She was able to answer our questions and even let us know when a nurse wasn't doing a good job. Her help was invaluable.
I'm so glad Mya was there for us. It made things a lot less stressful.
