When my Fiance and I gradually began approaching our due date we started to ask questions that we didn't quite gets the answers for in all of the classes we attended. My Co-worker recommended that I find a doula to help with the delivery and educate us on anything we had doubts or questions about regarding the experience of delivering a baby.
We met with Sue and Jaymie and we went over a rough plan and what we wanted in a delivery experience and they were more than happy to listen and accomodate any request we had, and also went over backup plans as well. They were just as excited as us and checked up on my Fiance constantly to make sure she was ok and had all of her questions answered.
My fiance ended up having to get induced and Jaymie was on top of it when it came to arriving in a timely manner and come in with all the things we had requested the weeks before and worked closely with me and my fiance to make sure we were confident and helped my fiance with all these helpful stretches and positions to ease the labor pains.
I can say with full confidence that without Jaymie there I probably would have left the hospital in a neck brace from being strangled by my Fiance. She really did know all the right things to say and was so supportive throughout the entire process. When she was with us I felt like we were part of an amazing team and she was so understanding with me and coaching me through what I needed to do to ensure my Fiance was in a comfortable position leading up to delivery.
I really felt so much more comfortable and confident with Jaymie there to help and her professionalism and kind demeanor makes her the perfect Doula for anybody looking for a upbeat, supportive, and attentive person to be there for you every step of the way to having your baby.
