Vine and Co. is such a sweet and worthwhile service to say yes to in pregnancy- to feel supported, educated, and loved on by Kali and Kelly in such a special season of life is such a gift.
My husband and I enjoyed meeting with Kali for our prenatal visits and getting to know her as she cared to get to know us and how she could best support us. She is easy to talk to and has such a beautiful heart and passion for women, families, birth, and the Lord. She helped us form our birth plan, had much to share with us, and I appreciated that I could text any time with questions that came up; I felt as prepared as we could be for labor and whatever might come in our story.
My labor ended up being SUPER fast, so I had a unique experience and ended up not having a doula physically with me during labor. This was not what I was expecting, but through all the quick changes and progression of my labor, we knew we were taken care of over the phone and that Kali would do all she could to support us. Because of this, we also got the chance to work with Kelly, who joined right after our baby was born. She brought a calming presence for us in the first hours of postpartum, and so genuinely shared in our joy and answered our questions.
My favorite moments overall were getting to debrief together during the postpartum visit in our home, for Kali and Kelly to see our baby boy and spend time with my husband and I. I so appreciated them listening to my questions, talking through our birth, and being so understanding of my tears and joy.
I would recommend Vine and Co. to any friend looking for doulas who love Jesus and care deeply, and who do all they can to make this beautiful yet challenging time even better and smoother! Thank you Kali and Kelly!
