Felisha was positively amazing from the moment we connected via Zoom. As a first time parent, I had lots of questions about everything under the Sun. Felisha was very patient with me, supportive of all of my asking and took the time to explain everything I wasn't sure about. Throughout the duration of my third trimester, she was readily available by text and phone call. During our in person meetings to go over my birth plan and goals, she was personable, knowledgeable, and wholly supportive for all of my wishes.
My birth plan went a little haywire with having to be induced at 41+2. Felisha knew that wasn't my hope, and was gentle and encouraging during all of my concerns about the situation. She even suggested an extra phone call meeting the day before my induction so she could advise my partner and I about what to expect so we felt calmer about the situation. My labor was slow going until I received an epidural and then all of a sudden things moved incredibly quick. Felisha trusted her gut and met us before I thought she would have needed to because my labor moved so quickly. She was confident in my abilities even though this was my first child, set the mood in the birthing room exactly as I had hoped, and helped me feel comfortable during my surprisingly quick 50 minutes of pushing. She then took pictures (per my request) of my partner and I meeting our daughter for the first time that I'll cherish forever. I'm incredibly thankful for finding Felisha, and plan to hire her again for any future children we have!
