Noleen was amazing to work with from start to finish! For our first child we were nervous about the process and wanted a knowledgeable resource for questions and recommendations, and Noleen definitely provided that! I appreciated how open she was to anything we wanted around the birth, wasn’t trying to talk me out of an epidural and really just was a sounding board to make sure we understood all of our options to make the best decision for us. Leading up to the birth Noleen recommended labor classes, consultants and resources that all really helped calm me and make me feel more prepared for a hospital birth to advocate for myself. I had a long slow labor which was challenging but Noleen was incredibly responsive through every decision point we were met with at the hospital and helped us navigate the options with zero judgement. Once she arrived at the hospital I felt immediately calmer (she has such a great presence about her) and her encouragement during the pushing phase was absolutely critical for me after such a long tiring labor. She helped advocate for us with the staff, stayed until we were ready to go to recovery and captured amazing photos of those first special moments with our girl. We have a detailed birth story with Noleen along with the photos that we will treasure and had a 2 week newborn photoshoot at our home with her which was fantastic! Overall Noleen made a big positive difference in our journey to parenthood and I cannot not imagine doing this without her!! Thank you Noleen!!
