We had Dilpreet as our night nurse / post partum Doula for the first 6 weeks when we had our first baby boy. She went above and beyond even before my birth by educating me about what to expect with my labor/ delivery process and helped me with my birth plan and contributed greatly to my having a very positive hospital birthing experience overall.
After I was discharged from the hospital, she came home to help me during the VERY early post-partum stage when I had several discomforts and struggled with breast feeding. She was the main reason I was able to eventually breastfeed successfully - she helped me try different feeding positions, helped me with pumping and making sure I had the right parts/ right sizes, made sure I had the right things/ tools to overcome pain and recover from nipple damage and went out of her way to set me up for success. She also provided a lot of really valuable insights with respect to the baby and managing the baby in my early PP days when I was really clueless about everything. Also - she baked two batches of lactation cookies for me to help with my supply (SO YUMMY!!). Thank you so much Dilpreet - you really helped me ease into motherhood and helped me navigate all the post partum challenges so seamlessly. Highly recommend her services to anyone - DONT THINK! SO WORTH IT.
