I had the pleasure of meeting Joanna through the healthy start program, and I am so very blessed to have had this amazing experience. She was very knowledgeable and helpful before , during and even after my labor . I could not imagine having to birth my child with out her , I had the plan to do a natural labor, I unfortunately was not able to stick to that plan but Joanna made sure I knew all of the risks , that I fully understood how each intervention would effect my child and myself , she also made sure that I was absolutely 100% okay with my decision! I could not have asked for a better doula. Oh yeah and she did an amazing job encapsulating my placenta , and making the keepsakes I will have forever
